The Air Jordan 3 came out in 1988. For this sneaker, Tinker Hatfield developed the iconic elephant print. It was the first model to have the now-famous Jumpman logo too. The AJ3 "Lucky Green" colorway likely is a tribute to MJ and his 63-point performance in a 1986 game between the Chicago Bulls and the Boston Celtics. 

This particular model's white upper is crafted from tumbled leather, while grey elephant print overlays decorate the toe and heel. There is green detailing via the molded eyelets, midsole, and heel. Meanwhile, the Jumpman on the tongue and insole are red. The rest of the midsole is off-white. The grey Jumpman and Air branding on the heel, as well as the grey rubber outsole, complete the look.
