The Air Jordan 3 was launched in 1988. It was the first to feature the now-famous Jumpman logo. For this shoe, Tinker Hatfield came up with the distinct elephant print. The AJ3 "Wizards" is based on a PE colorway that Jordan wore during his time with the Washington Wizards and it harks back to the original "True Blue" colorway.
This specific model's upper is crafted out of white tumbled leather, while grey elephant print overlays grace the eyestay, toe, and heel. There are blue details via the interior lining, molded eyelets, Jumpman on the heel tab, and midsole as well. Meanwhile, the Jumpman on the tongue and the forefoot eyelets are copper. A grey rubber outsole with a visible Air-sole unit housed in the heel finishes the look.
